Bio

Vijay Krishna, PhD, is a NanoXomics co-founder and inventor of Nebucage. His research focuses on functional nanotechnologies that can address major challenges in disease prevention, precision therapy, and proactive healthcare.

Dr. Krishna has established a multidisciplinary research program centered on materials with tunable optical, catalytic, antimicrobial, and surface-interactive properties. His work spans fullerene-metal nanocomposites for antimicrobial medical-device coatings, photonic technologies for minimally invasive kidney stone treatment, enzyme-mimicking nanomaterials, ultraviolet absorbers, and light-activated therapeutic materials.

This materials-science foundation underpins Nebucage: a fullerene-coated bimetallic nanoparticle platform designed as a scalable, non-antibiotic antimicrobial coating for urologic devices and other surfaces where biofilms create persistent clinical risk.
