Aaron W. Miller, PhD, is a NanoXomics co-founder and inventor of Oxalytic TM. His work centers on how microbial communities influence urologic and renal disease, with emphasis on the microbiome's role in oxalate metabolism, kidney stone risk, urinary tract disease, chronic kidney disease, and device-associated biofilms.
Dr. Miller has developed a multidisciplinary translational research program integrating clinical cohorts, preclinical models, mechanistic in vitro studies, multi-omics, microbial genomics, and bioinformatics. His work focuses on identifying microbial functions that promote or protect against disease and translating those discoveries into precision diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
His research on microbial oxalate metabolism provides the scientific foundation for Oxalytic TM: a defined multi-strain bacteriotherapy paired with a biomarker strategy designed to identify patients most likely to benefit from restoration of lost microbial function.
